FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Prepare for your carpet cleaning appointment:

 

        1. Prior to our arrival, please remove any necessary furniture and items from the carpeted areas. You are welcome to leave large

           furniture pieces such as beds, dressers and tv stands. We will clean around big furniture items but cannot clean under them.

           (This includes disconnecting any electrical cords/cables and positioning drapery to prevent it from touching the floor.)

 

         2. Thoroughly vacuum all areas desired to be cleaned prior to the technicians arriving at your home.

              We will clean all exposed areas so it is important to clear the entire  floor surface before our arrival. Our

              technicians do not move furniture, unless previously arranged upon scheduling at an additional cost.

​

If the home is not properly prepared prior to the scheduled service, additional charges will be incurred.

Prepare for your tile/wood/stone floor cleaning appointment:

​

        1. Prior to our arrival, please remove ALL furniture and items from the surface of the floors 

            being cleaned to another area of the home. (This includes disconnecting any electrical

            cords/cables and positioning drapery to prevent it from touching the floor.)

​

        2. Thoroughly sweep up all loose dirt and debris.

        

             We will clean all exposed areas so it is important to clear the entire  floor surface before our arrival. Our

              technicians do not move furniture, unless previously arranged upon scheduling at an additional cost.

 

Furniture moving

 

Green Clean Pros' technicians do not move furniture. Please call us to discuss this if any questions or concerns.

 

A typical service call:

 

Upon arrival at your home, a Green Clean Pros technician will conduct a thorough (pre) walk-through of the home with you.  They will make note of all areas to be cleaned, any pre-existing conditions, areas of concern, damaged areas, etc.

 

After the cleaning service is complete, a technician will ask you to perform a final walk-through to confirm you are satisfied with the service and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Pet damage & major odor treatment

 

These treatments can only be guaranteed IF we are allowed to reach all of the affected areas – The carpet is pulled up and padding discarded. The carpet is thoroughly cleaned on both sides with a special product that neutralizes the urine. The sub floor is also neutralized. A special odor barrier is applied to backing of the carpet, to sub floor and baseboard.

 

Stains & spot treatment

 

Green Clean Pros agrees to perform the work specified in a professional manner using reasonable care to obtain satisfactory results. The technician is limited in attaining the best results due to the condition and nature of the article/material being cleaned. There are substances that can permanently discolor the carpet fibers. The age of the carpet and the type of carpet fibers also plays a factor in this. The technician will try to determine the outcome and set expectations prior to cleaning but they are not always able to determine this before trying to remove the spots.

We cannot guarantee the removal of all  spots and stains. The nature of some spots makes it impossible to restore original color or texture. The age and type of carpet also play a role in the results. At times a spot will appear to be even more visible after a general cleaning of the material. Spot treatment on rust, liquor, cosmetics, ink, coffee, lipstick stains, and the like, is performed at customer’s risk because removal of spots is not guaranteed. Carpeting, by nature, has certain permanent characteristics (fluffing, blooming, pile shading) that cannot be changed and may even by highlighted by cleaning.

 

 

Payment

 

Payment is due the same day, upon completion of service. Green Clean Pros accepts cash, credit card and check. Any returned payment will result in a $25 fee. The original payment amount + return fee will be due immediately in the form of a cash payment. There will be a 5% interest fee per month for past due invoices.

Cancellation Policy

​

We ask for a 48 hour notice for any cancelled appointment. Any appointment that is cancelled before 48 hours is subject to a $50 fee. If you re-schedule the appointment there will be an additional non-refundable deposit required which will be credited back to your service.
